Google Glass is basically a brand of smart glasses which is an optical head straddling display which is designed in the shape of eyeglasses. It was established by X (formerly Google X ) with the aim of producing a universal computer. Google Glass presents the data in a smartphone like layout but hands free format. Users through this headset can communicate with the Internet through regular language voice instructions.
On 15th April 2013, before making it available to general public, Google started selling the model of Google Glass for a limited time period to experienced “Glass Explorers” in the US for $1,500. On 15th May 2014, Google made it available to the public. Due to its criticism Google on 15th January 2015, announced prohibiting the production of Google Glass prototype, and said the project is tentatively scheduled for the year 2017.

After prohibiting its consumer Google Glass assignment, the Mountain View, California firm had declared that it was functioning on a solution for businesses. In fact, Google has sold large number of quantities of its smart headset to major firms like DHL and Volkswagen. The new edition of the headset is revealed by MySmartPrice based on the information seeming in the Geekbench benchmarking database.
While the original Google glass Enterprise 1st Edition used an OMAP 4430 System on a chip, dual-core processor, Android-based software APIs, Glass OS (Google Xe Software) operating system with the memory of 2 GB RAM and on the other hand and it has the ability to take 5 Mp photos and record 720p HD video, and on the other hand the new Edition is swapping to a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor running Android 8.1 Oreo. The new edition headset will superficially run at 1.2GHz and include 3GB of RAM memory (1GB extra from prior edition) with standard single and multi-core scores of 1164 and 2424, individually.

The Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2 comes with all new features and has modified in order to correct previous model drawbacks. The new edition of the headset seems to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and according to the reports, run on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
The memory of new edition headset is 3 GB and the stock chip has an integrated LTE modem. It can also support 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Talking about its camera front, it can capture 4K video at 30FPS or 1080p at 120FPS as well as it can support up to a 32MP camera.
Meanwhile, Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2 have not yet revealed the date for making it available to the general public and not even declared the price of the new edition.
