The State Election Commission has revealed the result of the Gujrat Gram Panchayat Election. The election was held successfully on the 27th December 2016, and the interested candidates were asked to fill submit their names on 10th December 2016. Meanwhile, this election is organized for the post of Panchayat members and the Sarpanch and thus every vote were asked to submit two votes- one for Sarpanch and another one for Panchayat.
The election was scheduled on 27th December and was carried between the 8 am to 5 pm. The reports reveal that 25454 boots were organized for the votes and around 91,002 wards were there. The reports reveal that there are 18.9 million total registered voters.
The result is underway as the votes are in count : Mehsana, Patan, Sabarkantha, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Botad, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Morbi, Porbandar, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Dang, Navsari, Kutch, Ahmedabad, Anand, Bharuch, Chhota Udaipur, Dahod, Kheda, Mahisagar, Narmada, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Aravalli, Banaskantha, Gandhinagar, Surat, Tapi, Valsad.
