The head priest of New Delhi’s Nizamuddin Dargah including two Indian clerics have gone missing in Pakistan. After the missing report, this incident prompted India to take up the matter with the Government of Pakistan.
As per the official sources in New Delhi, the chief priest – Asif Nizami and Nazim Nizami had gone to visit the famous Daata Darbar shrine in Lahore, Pakistan and were to catch a flight from there to Karachi on Wednesday.
According to their families that Asif was allowed to go to Karachi, but Nazim was stopped at the Lahore airport on the base of incomplete travel papers.
As per the sources that Asif went missing after arriving at the Karachi airport and Nazim went missing from Lahore airport.
The sources said that this matter has been taken up with the Pakistan government both in New Delhi as well as through the Indian mission in Islamabad.
Both had gone to Karachi to meet their relatives on 8th March 2017 before travelling to Lahore to visit the shrine.
Exchanges between clerics of the Nizamuddin Dargah and the Daata Darbar are part of a regular tradition.
