Srinagar: On Sunday, Home Minister and Union Cabinet Minister Rajnath Singh directed the security forces to catch the instigators who is instigating the youths to indulge in violence in Kashmir valley and restore the normalcy in the valley in a week.
The directive was given during an hour-long meeting the home minister had with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other top security officials and intelligence officers.
According to the sources that home minister conveyed that the security forces must go after the instigators of the violence in Kashmir Valley and book them.
HM Rajnath Singh said that in the valley, normalcy should be brought back within a week and school and other educational institutions should function as students are worst sufferers due to the violence in the valley.
The Home minister told the officials that efforts should also be made to reopen shops and other commercial establishments, which were shut completely.
The home minister reviewed the security situation in J&K, where a policeman and 3 militants were killed in two separate incidents on Sunday.
75 people lost their lives in the 65 days of turmoil in the valley.
6 others, including a police officer, were injured in two encounters between security forces and 4 terrorists killed in Poonch sector of J&K.
The violence had started in the valley following the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani on 8th July 2016.
