Recently, a young e-scooter rider passed away in hospital overnight after battling for more than a week. Reportedly, he sustained fatal injuries in a crash after losing control of the e-scooter.  That caused him to sustain life-threatening injuries. Reportedly, the victim was identified as Moustafa Abou-Eid. He was a 28 years old boy from Melbourne. Reportedly, he died after losing control of the scooter in Pascoe Vale. According to the source, it was a matter of September 22, 2022, when Moustafa Abou-Eid sustained life-threatening injuries. Now his family has come fore to request the authority to levy a ban on e-scooters.

Recently, Moustafa Abou-Eid’s mother said that he was going for having a coffee in the morning on September 22 but he jumped on an e-scooter instead of going on foot. And shortly after Moustafa Abou-Eid left the home police knocked on their door and reported his accident.

Moustafa Abou-Eid’s father said, “He went to have a coffee in the morning, and instead of walking, he jumped on a scooter. He used to drive a truck, but the scooter took his life.
