The Chinese technology company, “Huawei” is once back with brand new earbuds, “Huawei FreeBuds 4”. The company launched the new earbud on 22nd May 2021, that is, on Saturday in the Chinese Market, however, no announcement has been made regarding the launching of the same in the Indian market. The key highlight of FreeBuds 4 is that it will come with a detection sensor and also have active semi-open noise cancellation. Another key highlight of this Freebud is that it will come with an IPX4 Water resistance and will also come with the connectivity of Bluetooth v5.2. It has also been revealed that the new earbud will come in three different colour variants.
Huawei FreeBuds 4 Specification
The new “Huawei FreeBuds 4” is powered by a Huawei Kirin A1 Chip processor and has a True Wireless Stereo (TWS) connectivity. The In-ear Earphones has semi-open noise cancellation (ANC) technology that will lessen the noise of the external low-frequency. This noise cancellation can be turned On and Off according to the conveniences. The earbud has a dual-microphone and also have smart audio connectivity and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and other features, such as touch control.
Also, there is a moving coil driver of 14.3 mm that has a frequency reach of up to 40KHz. The biggest key highlight of this new earphone is that you can connect two devices with the earbuds simultaneously and you can switch manually between the devices using an app. As mentioned previously, the earphone has the touch control feature, which will allow you to play and pause the music, answer and decline phone calls and control volume and activate voice assistant.
The FreeBuds 4 will be available in three different colour variants including Frost Silver, Ceramic White and Honey Red. The wireless earbuds have a battery capacity of 30mAh and will last for about 4 hours, whereas, the ANC is turned off while it can last for up to 2.5 hours when the ANC feature is turned On. The charging case supports wireless charging and it will take 1 hour for the earbuds to be completely charged. The total battery life of the earbuds along with the charging case is 20 hours.

The brand new “Huawei Free Buds 4” has launched in the Chinese market and will be available on the official website of Huawei, ‘Vmall’ and also at the various e-commerce website for purchase. The earphone is available at a price of CNY 999 Chinese Yuan which is approximately Rs. 11,600 in Indian Rupees. As for now, the company has launched this brand new earbud only in the Chinese market and it is still not known when the company will launch the same in the Indian market.
