Huawei Mate 30 Pro Camera Receives Highest Rating: DxoMark Rating

Being the world’s No. 2 smartphone maker, Huawei revealed its new Mate 30 line of phones on September 18 in Munich. Now, Huawei on 28th September has received the highest rating from DxOMark for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s camera system.

Overall, the Mate 30 Pro’s SuperSensing Cine Camera has received an amazing score of 121, which is the second highest to the highest photo score of 131.

For those who don’t know much about DxOMark, it is a website that provides image quality ratings for standalone cameras, lenses, as well as mobile devices that comprises of cameras, mainly smartphones. It is owned by DxOMark Image Labs, that has been headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, France.

DxOMark Camera Overall Score is the headline number reported for every single tested device, as well as comprises of a proprietary combination of DxOMark Mobile Photo along with DxOMark Mobile Video category scores.

DxOMark has announced that the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro’s integrated quad-camera system, comprising the advanced Super Sensing Camera and Cine Camera, ranks number one in overall DxOMark camera score.

Huawei’s latest flagship device strengthens the brand’s reputation in the smartphone photography sector by achieving the number one status.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1176×2400 pixels. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and supports wireless charging, and also proprietary fast charging.

It comprises of 1.86GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro operates on EMUI 10 that is based on Android 10 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage (up to 256GB).

Talking about its camera, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro on the rear packs a 40-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture; a second 40-megapixel camera with an f/1.6 aperture as well as a third 8-megapixel camera along with an f/2.4 aperture.

The rear camera setup also comprises of pdaf and laser autofocus. For selfies, it sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front, with an f/2.0 aperture.  The 40MP SuperSensing Camera also has ISP 5.0 Image Signal Processor.
