Huawei Mate 8 Smartphone Sold Out In China On First DayLast month, Huawei introduced Mate 8 which is touted to be as the most advanced smart phone by the company. Now in December Company is finally making it available on sale in china at the price of CNY 2,999 which is calculated in INR amounts to Rs 31,100. Market is buzzing around with the news that the handset is already sold out at many retailers. Looks like that the smart phone has recieved quite good response from the customers.  Moreover He Gang who is the head of this Chinese Company’s smart phone division said in an interview that they are expecting a lot from this handset and they anticipate that within a month its sale will touch up to 8 million which is quite big number.

Chinese company has unveiled two variants i.e 3GB/32GB and 4GB/128GB. One with 3GB internal RAM will be available at the tag of CNY 3,699 while other with 4GB of internal RAM comes at the price of CNY 4,399. There is also a third edition named “Champagne edition” which is available at the worth of CNY 6,888.

Huawei Mate 8 features 6” Full HD IPS Neo-LCD Display delivering screen resolution up to 1920X1080p. Finger print sensors are also present in the handset at the rear just like it was placed in Google Nexus 6P manufactured by Huawei. It also incorporates 2.5D Display technology with 83% screen to body ratio.

It runs on Kirin 950 Octa core processor out of which one quad core processor is clocked with 2.3GHz clock frequency while other quad core is coupled with 1.8GHz clock frequency. The processor is mated along with Mali-T880 GPU to augment the graphics.

For the functions like speech recognition, low power consumption, fused location provider navigation, reduced location based power consumption etc it boards i5 co-processor. It operates on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Coming to the camera front, we have 16MP of rear shooter which comes with optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus, Sony IMX298 sensors etc. On front we have 8MP of camera at the front with f/2.4 focal aperture and Sony IMX179 image sensors. Other camera features include 1/2.8′ sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, HDR etc.

It accommodates connectivity options like WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/a/ac, dual band, DLNA, WiFi Direct hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, A2DP, EDR, LE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, NFC, FM radio, 4G LTE connectivity etc.
