The recruitment notification has released for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2 by The Indian Air Force (IAF). The notification will be released for the flying branches and as well for Ground Duties for both non-technical and technical posts. The registration process for the vacancies will be started on June 1, 2021, and the last date for apply will be June 30, 2021. The notification is inviting the Indian citizens as per the acts of 1955 to become a part of the Indian Air Force.
Well, the online registration is the requirement for Grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Permanent Commission and Flying Branch and along with this, the Short Service Commission in the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. Also, the invitation will be accepted for the Grant of Permanent Commission PC/SSC under the NCC candidates special entry scheme for the requirement of Flying Branch as per as for the branch entry of Meteorology. IAF AFCAT Recruitment 2021: Vacancy Details
According to the notification, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has released 334 vacancies for the interested candidates. Here are the vacancies details according to the posts:
- SSC Flying Branch – 96
- PC/SSC Ground Duty Technical Branch – 137
- PC/SSC Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch – 73
- Meteorology Branch – 28
Along with this, for the special entry for NCC candidates, 10% of seats are available from CDSE vacancies for PC and 10% seats of AFCAT for SSC.
IAF AFCAT Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Flying Branch Posts:- The interested candidates should have an age of between 20 to 24 years as of June 1, 2022. On the other side, the interested candidates who have a commercial valid pilot license which is issued by DGCA (India) and up to 26 years of age are relaxable for the job.
Groud Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Posts:- The interested candidate should have an age of between 20 to 26 years as of July 1, 2022.
IAF AFCAT Recruitment 2021: Exam Fee
The interested applicants will have to pay Rs. 250 for the registration. On the other side, those applicants who are registering for NCC special entry and the Meteorology department will have not to pay the exam fee.

- Then, click on AFCAT 02/2021 link
- Click on that reads “New Registration” and fill in all the necessary details
- Click on Submit button and save your ID and Password
- Use ID and Password to applying for the application form
- Candidates will have to pay the fee after form submission
- Download the copy of the document for further use.
IAF AFCAT Recruitment 2021: Training
According to the details, the training for the posts will be started in the first week of July 2022 at the Air Force Academy Dundigal, Hyderabad. The training for Flying and Ground Duty Technical will go on for 74 weeks and 52 weeks for Ground Duty Non-Technical Branched. Also, some documents like candidate PAN Card and Bank Account Numbers are required during the joining. While Adhar Card is important during the registration.
