IAS officer Ashok Khemka tweets ‘Moment truly painful’ Transferred For 46th Time

IAS officer Ashok Khemka, transferred for the 46th time in his career. He call it so painful because in his 46 years of his career he got transferred and only transferred, and he tweeted on Wednesday that the moment was truly painful. According to the sources of the hindustan times and zee news Khemka, as per the latest orders of the Haryana government, has been posted as Secretary, Archaeology and Museums Department and Director General, Archaeology and Museums.

He was appointed as transport commissioner and secretary, Transport department, last year after Manohar Lal Khattar assumed office as chief minister of the first BJP government in Haryana.

At that time, Khemka, who had blown the lid off from the controversial multi-million-rupee land deals of Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, was touted to get an important assignment. However, he was posted in the transport department.

As Khemka is a computer engineer born in Kolkata, did his b.tech in computer science and also did Ph.D in Computer Science from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. who got his first posting as IAS officer in 1993, was stated to have been transferred around 50 times in 22 years with most of his postings lasting merely months.At the same time, he said: “Many issues untouched in the CAG report. Cycle of corruption involved the triad – business, politics and bureaucracy.”
