The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the CA CPT (Charted Accountancy Common Proficiency Test) 2019 result on July 18, 2019, i.e. today at 12.02 pm. In order to check their result, the candidates are required to enter their roll number, pin or registration number.
ICAI CA CPT Result 2019
ICAI has released the CA CPT result 2019 in online mode only and candidates who had submitted their CA CPT application form 2019 and taken the test can access it at the official website i.e. icaiexam.icai.org. CA CPT 2019 result for June session can also be checked by the candidates on their registered mobile via text and email. Moreover, the CA CPT result can also be checked on the notice board of the exam conducting authority. The result will be accessible name-wise, number-wise, region-wise. Candidates can check the result in their desired format.
According to ICAI, the candidates have to score at least 30% marks in each paper and 50% marks overall in order to pass or to qualify the exam. June 2019 was the last session for CA CPT exam, so those who appeared in this session and do not qualify will have to register in CA Foundation course for upcoming sessions, i.e December 2019, June 2020 or further.
Steps to check CA CPT 2019 Result:
· Visit the CA CPT official website i.e. icaiexam.icai.org
· Enter your roll no, PIN/registration number
· Click on ‘Check Result’
· The result will be displayed on the screen.
· Download and take a printout for future reference.
Candidates can receive their individual result of CA CPT on their email ID as well. For this, they will have to register on the official website. Registrations have already been commenced from July 15, 2019.
Also, candidates can obtain their CA CPT 2019 result through SMS on their mobile number.
Steps to get the result through SMS are:
- Compose a new message and type ‘CACPT(space)Roll Number’
- Candidates need to send this to 58888
CA CPT Merit list 2019
Candidates need to score the specified cutoff/qualifying marks to clear the examination. Candidates have to score at least 40 marks in each section and 50% above on aggregate to clear the CPT examination.
All the candidates who have cleared CA CPT Examination will get the rank card and mark sheet that will be available after 2 weeks of the result declaration. Candidates who passed the CPT exam with more than 70% of marks will get “Pass with distinction” certificate along with the marks sheet.
