The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has declared the results for its examination which was held in December 2018 on Thursday, 21 February 2019. The results were announced for foundation, intermediate, and final Certified Management Accounting (CMA) exams.
ICMAI Declares Foundation, Intermediate, Final Result For December Term End Exam
The candidates who have been appeared for the examination held in December 2018 can check or download their results on the official website of ICMAI at examicai.in as well as at examicmai.org. The officials earlier announced to release the result on Thursday’s afternoon. The results was available on the website by 2 pm.
Steps to check and Download Results
Step 1: Firstly, visit to any of the two available websites of ICMAI at examicai.in and examicmai.org
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link ‘check your result online’
Step 3: You will be directed to next page where you will be asked about your credentials such as registration or identification number.
Step 4: Enter your credentials correctly.
Step 5: Your result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Check or Download the result.
Step 7: Also take a print out of it for future use.
For the candidates who have been got the new registrations, that is after 2012, the identification number is in the following format such as EF0000001234, SF0000000123, NF0000000123 and so on. The minimum passing marks are given by ICMAI and in order to qualify the CMA, December 2018 term examination, candidates need to obtain that passing marks otherwise they will not be able to qualify the examination.
At least they need to score 40 per cent marks in each paper of the group and on the other hand, in non-exempted papers of the group, the minimum passing marks to be obtained is 50 per cent.

The Institute of Cost Accountants offers the Certified Management Accounting course that helps the candidates to become certified management accountant. The exam is tried by scores of students all around the country while about less than 20 per cent are able to pass the examination.
