The admit card for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 is expected to be released today, on 23rd October 2019 by the IIM Kozhikode or Indian Institute of Management. The admit card is going to be uploaded on the official website, the link for which is iimcat.ac.in.

All the candidates who are going to appear in the examination and were eagerly waiting for their admit card to get released, can download it from the IIM CAT official website.
The CAT 2019 exam is scheduled to be held on November 24, 2019 in total of two shifts that is morning and afternoon shifts in around 374 centres that are located all over 156 cities.
IIM CAT Exam and Admit Card
The admit card for IIM CAT 2019 is expected to get released at 5 pm. The total number of candidates who registered themselves for the examination are 2,44,168.
The CAT admit card will comprise of all the major information regarding the examination such as the details of the venue, exam centre and time/ session of the exam. It is compulsory for all the candidates to carry their admit cards in the exam hall.
Previous year, there were total number of 2,09,405 candidates who had appeared for the exam in 2018 and 1,99,632 in the year 2017. As from this year onwards, the IIMs are going to be granting degrees instead of diplomas, the number of applications was also anticipated to change by a major number. On the other hand, a minor rise of almost 3,000 application from previous year have been observed.
Last year, the CAT exam was held on 25 November. The IIMs had also witnessed an 8% rise in female applicants as well.
IIM CAT 2019: Exam Pattern
The examination is going to be of 180 minutes and the candidates are going to be allocated sixty minutes for answering all the questions in each section as well as they will be limited to switch from one section to another. The questions are going to be in total of three sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension,
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning,
- Quantitative Ability.
All the candidates who are going to qualify the exam will be then eligible for admission to management courses, which also comprises of PGP, PGDM, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, PGPEX, at several IIMs all over the country. There are many other colleges comprising JNU who also accept CAT score for the admission to B-school programmes. The CAT 2019 score is only going to be valid until 31st December 2020.
