IndiGo Brawl: Exactly What Happened at Delhi Airport on October 15

Inside a violent event, While a traveler was beaten and then that force to the ground by IndiGo Airlines workers at the Delhi Airport lately and the Civil Aviation Ministry has asked a statement from the low-cost airline following a video of the October 15 event moved all over news channels and social media.

According to the reports where the name is Sindhu, that was going from Hyderabad and evoked her distress on Twitter and involved an airline ground staff of misconduct. After that, the evidence instantly heightens furthermore a fight splits escape among the IndiGo staff division and where Mr. Katiyal.

The passenger was recognized as the Rajeev Katiyal and that alleged that he was beaten by the IndiGo crew following he requested them to provide a third bus to go to the airport terminal and also he I was attaining in the shadow of a face when a spot staff started screaming at me in a rather awkward manner.

Staff: Bhai…baat suno…gaali dene ka koi matlab nahi (You can’t abuse us.)

Passenger: Gaali kya…main idhar khada hoon…ye keh rha idhar aa jaao…udhar aa jao…tum apna kam to karlo yaar. Ek to apna kam kar nahi rahe aur keh rhe gali de rhe.(I am not abusing. I have been standing here and this person is nagging me, asking me to move out.)

Staff: Aap apne umr ko dekhke ke gaali do. Gaali kaise de rhe ho (At least, look at your age. You can’t abuse us.)

Passenger: Ajeeb aadmi ho…ek to apna kaam nahi kar rhe aur mujhe bol rhe ho Baahar aa jao…btata hoon (Do your duty properly. Come out and I will tell you all.)

At this point one of the members of ground staff is heard asking his colleagues to stop the passenger from boarding the bus.

Staff: Oye! rok le isko…bahar ki kya baat ho gayi isme. Rok lo..rok lo yehin rok lo. (Stop him…stop him here.)

IndiGo President Apologises

IndiGo President and Whole Time Director Aditya Ghosh apologised and said stern action was taken against the staff.

An IndiGo statement quoted Ghosh as saying he had apologised to the passenger.

“I acknowledge the unpleasant experience our passenger went through while engaging with our staff at Delhi airport. My personal apologies as this do not reflect our culture. I had personally spoken to the passenger and asked for an apology,” a statement from IndiGo quoted Ghosh.

IndiGo President also said that the airline had inquired into the incident and action was taken against the staff, he said without specifying what measure was taken.

Meanwhile, according to media reports, Montu Kalra, an IndiGO ground staff, who was said to have shot the video, was sacked after the incident.
