Ola, new step to provide a luxury travel experience to its customers on roads, has followed Micro and launched the luxury rides service on roads by naming it as Ola Lux. The luxury service is already on in the some major cities of the country including Delhi-NCR, South Mumbai. Ola is planning to launch the service in other parts of Mumbai along with the other major cities such as Hyderabad and Bangalore.
A few months back, Ola seems that Ola cabs have taken a step forward by signing a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday regarding the same. The said agreement has happened between BMW and Ola. Surely, the cab travelers may soon experience the luxury rides by using the facility of Ola Lux(Ola Luxury).
Ola announced that customers can ride in the high-end sedans such as Honda Accord, Fortuner, Toyota Camry, BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Jaguar in the selected areas through the OLA Lux. Now, BMW is the “Lux Category Partner” for Ola officially.
One will have to book the cab with a minimum fare of Rs. 250/- followed by Rs. 20-22 per kilometer to enjoy the luxury ride.
Frank Schloeder who is the President of BMW Group India, said that the way people move is changing and this is also true for the premium clientele. Ola Lux also has a feature called ‘Rentals’ through which one can rent a car and pay on an hourly basis.
Chief Operating Officer of Ola – Pranay Jivrajka added that we look forward to growing our association with BMW and taking the Ola ‘Lux’ service to a greater scale throughout the country. The Ola BMW cars will be inducted across Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi in the beginning, while the service is expected to be expanding to other locations of the country very soon.
