The 14th season of Indian Premier League or IPL 2021 is round the corner, and all the teams are getting ready to start their campaign in this edition. The tournament is all set to begin on 9 April 2021 and just like the previous season, the IPL 2021 is going to host eight teams to participate in this edition. The tournament is going to carry on till 30 May 2021 and will be played at six different venues in India.
With the arrival of new season, we get to see new sponsors as well as brand new team jerseys. The teams Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be seen in new team jerseys in the upcoming 14th season of IPL.
IPL 2021: Teams New Jersey
Many IPL fans must be excited to see their favourite team in the new jersey, so here we have provided you the first look of the new team jersey of all the 8 teams in this season i.e. MI, SRH, KKR, CSK, PBKS, DC RCB, and RR.
Mumbai Indians’ Jersey
Starting with the Mumbai Indians, the two times defending champions, will be seen in their new jersey having Samsung and DHL brands as their title sponsors. Overall, there will be no such big change in the look of the four-time IPL champions (winning back-to-back last two season 2019 and 2020). They will be seen in the opening match of IPL 2021 on April 9 against RCB.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’ Jersey
The Sunrisers Hyderabad will have their jersey in orange and black color having JK Lakshmi Cement as their main sponsor. Other than this brand, you will also get to see Jio, Colgate, and Valvoline on their set. Their first match will be against KKR on April 11, 2021.
Chennai Super Kings’ Jersey
MS Dhoni led team CSK are going to start their campaign in the 14th season of IPL on April 10, 2021. The team has also revealed their new jersey for this season and you are going to notice some major changes in the design of the jersey, particularly having Myntra as their prime sponsor.
Punjab Kings’ Jersey
Initially established as Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), the franchise has decided to change its name to Punjab Kings from this upcoming season. They will play their opening match on April 12 against RR. This team will have the major changes among other franchise in the tournament due to the change in their name, a whole new logo will we seen in their jersey.
Kolkata Knight Riders’ Jersey
KKR is going to follow the same gold and purple jersey from their IPL 2020 and their key sponsor for this season is Mobile Premier League (MPL).
Rajasthan Royals’ Jersey
The team RR has not announced their new jersey yet but they will reveal it soon. They are going to play their opening match in IPL 2021 against PBKS on April 12, 2021.
Royal Challengers Bangalore’ Jersey
Just like KKR, the RCB is also not going to make any alternation in this season jersey. They will be seen against MI in the opening match of the IPL 2021 on April 9, 2021.
Delhi Capitals’ Jersey
Delhi Capitals will be seen in the second match of IPL 14th season in which the team will start their campaign against CSK on April 10. Their jersey will be in blue color along with havig JSW, EbixCash, Jio and Apollo Tyres as franchise’s key sponsors.
