The most popular and world’s best cricket league named Indian Premier League just completed its versatile 13th season in UAE and the 2020 league cost higher to the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) and on the other hand, it carries very profitably for The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). The 2020 IPL gives around 98.5 Cr. to the ECB for hosting the IPL 2020 in the country UAE and this cost is seriously a higher cost for hosting the IPL season and along with hosting the ECB manages the match staging fee for the 2020 IPL in the UAE. It does not end here, the BCCI puts around 9.49 Cr which is fixed for the virus testing, and with this, the Cricket Board spends around 3 Cr for the BIO-Bubble in the UAE. This fee is double the price for the ECB for managing the season as per the India game.
The Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) confirmed this matter and tells a well-known reporter that ECB was given 98.5 Cr as a treating & match preparation price for IPL 2020. The managing fee is on a more expensive surface in correlation to what gets paid on the identical segment in India but all country has their expense arrangements. In case, we are especially grateful to Emirates Cricket for everything their help on such a tiny note and in such tough situations. With the help of them, the previous season of the IPL was completed successfully.
If the BCCI did the hosting in India then as per the statistics of previous seasons the BCCI have to spend only 50 Lakhs for hosting but due to the pandemic which is ruling the world, the BCCI has decided to shift the hosting to UAE where they have to spend almost double and triple money for per match and witch this, the BCCI spends 98.5 Cr for the hosting fee for the whole league. The Cricket Board also spend 2.52 Cr for hosting the IPL Women.
The Cricket Board spends around Rs. 10 Crore for treating and testing the ongoing pandemic virus for all the audiences of the IPL 2020 and all the medical facilities were handled by the UAE based VPS Health Care. As per the sources the health care tested around 20,000 tests in between the IPL in UAE. Also, the BCCI spend 2.89 Cr on UK based Restrata Solutions which is set for managing BIO-BUBBLE in the 2020 season of IPL. Stay tuned with us.
