On the previously episode of the TV series Yeh Hain Mohabbatein we saw that, Raman (Karan Patel) was in an intoxicated state at that time. Gradually, the next scene shows that Aliya complains against Adi at the police station. Someone would have attacked Aliya, and she thinks he must be Adi, as Adi had threatened her, when they last met. Adi is beaten up by the police, and the police also force Adi to accept the crime against Aliya which he did not committed.

Now in the police station Adi thinks Aliya is taking revenge on him as he had threatened her. He also decides not to confess the crime, as he hasn’t even committed so simple. He informs this to Mihika that he is in custody because of Aliya. Raman gets to know that Adi is in custody and rushes to meet him in the police station. But before he meets Adi, Ishita meets Aliya, and scolds Adi.
As Ishita thoughts that Adi had committed the crime, Ishita also scolds Adi’s mother for his improper up-bringing and also criticised him as he did not respecting women. Raman interferes and tries to convince Ishita that Adi but Raman is not aware of it that she is Ishita.
Raman wanted to tell her that Adi is Raman and Shagun Bhalla’s son and he is perfect but when Ishita turn towards Raman, Raman is shocked to see that she is Ishita.
Now Pihu informs Mrs Iyer that she saw the aunty in the photo (Ishita) in Australia. Mrs Bhalla listens and is shocked to know that Ishita is alive. Meanwhile in the police station, Mani arrives and confuses Ishita! Raman and Mani had a conflict in order to support their respective kids (Adi and Aliya). Ishita tries to convince both of them, but all goes in vain. Ishita asks Aliya to recall the incident, and everybody shocked to know that it is Aliya assumes that Adi attacked him as once Adi threatened her.
Raman and Abhishek leaves with Adi and Abhishek asked to Aliya that before doing complaint on anybody, make sure you are saying right and you should have proper testimonies to show his guilt, as you having no right to put an innocent in the custody.
