Intelligence agencies of India have issued an alert to the Government and said that the ISIS is looking for a chance to launch an attack on India.
The strengthening of the ISIS base in Bangladesh is a cause of concern for India.
Agencies intercept the call of ISIS terrorists and it reveals a militant as saying that a strong base in Bangladesh will help ISIS to carry out terrorist attacks in India.
The Agencies’s alert also mentions that Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen who is Bangladesh-based terrorist group has already set up terror infrastructure in West Bengal and Assam state of India.
The Jamaat-ul Mujahideen is also recruiting the youths for these states. Later in one year, the security agencies had arrested four people from West Bengal for suspected links with the ISIS.
As per intelligence inputs, people associated with JMB and the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, Bangladesh’s largest Islamist political party, are associated with the ISIS.
Radicalisation is major concern for the country and it is very easy to radicalising any muslim youth through social media. Most of the seven young Gulshan cafe attackers had gone missing several months ago in Bangladesh.
Recently, an Islamic State module was busted by NIA in Hyderabad.This gives red signal for the government.
According to NIA sources, all the arrested suspects aged between 20 and 42 were allegedly plotting bomb attacks and reckless firing at shopping malls, religious places and crowded places in Hyderabad.
Arrested suspects were allegedly planing to targets the temples and IT parks, malls and police stations, According to received reports.
