The most prestigious and luxurious car brand Jaguar Land Rover has launched the “Jaguar I-Pace Electric SUV” in India. the brand new Electric SUV has got everything in it. From a five-year complimentary service warranty package to an eight-year battery warranty. Jaguar I-Pace has a lot to offer. The starting ex-showroom price of the Jaguar I-Pace is around INR 1.06 crore in India. Each shaft of the SUV has one magnetic electrical motor which gives the car AWD capability. The exterior of the SUV is elegant and also has an aerodynamic design, along with innovative interior design and laced with advanced technology and sufficient space for five people and one-touch information and entertainment system. The SUV will be available in three different variants- S, Se, and HSE. The starting price of ex-showroom price for the S variant is INR 1.05 crore, while for the SE variant is INR 1.08 crore and the top HSE variant price is INR 1.12 crore.
All-wheel Drive (AWD) balances out the power to all four wheels, which is good for safety reasons. Another key highlight of this car is that the electric motor is made up of Lithium-ion and has a capacity of 90kWh, and which gives a peak torque of 696Nm that gives a maximum speed of 394bhp. The car will take approximately 4.8 seconds to reach from zero to 100kmph, while the maximum speed of the Jaguar I-Pace is 470 km.
The electric motor can be charged either using a home charging cable or by an AC wall-mounted charger. The only difference is that the former one will only take 27 hours to charge the battery fully, while the latter one requires 13 hours to charge the battery. Along with the car, the company will provide us with a 7.4kW wall-mounted AC charger and also with a home charging cable. With a DC charger, Jaguar I-Pace can be charged fully within two hours.
Jaguar Land Rover has a total of 22 retail outlets in over 19 cities all over India and each of the outlets has an Electric Vehicle charging facility. There are a total of 35 Electric Vehicle chargers and more charging infrastructure is still in work in progress. The users can use the EV chargers, on use and pay basis. Jaguar Land Rover is also offering a five-year roadside support package along with a five-year complimentary service support package.
