Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first prime minister of India. He was a significant figure in Indian politics before as well as after independence. With the help of Mahatma Gandhi, he flagged the way for Indian independence. His father Motilal Nehru was a noticeable barrister, who was also the central leader of the Indian national congress as well as an activist in Indian Independence.
In October 1907, Jawaharlal Nehru went to Trinity College, Cambridge and in 1910 he graduated with an honors degree in natural science. Through this period, he also casually studied politics, economics, history, and literature. Later, finishing his degree in 1910, he moved to London and studied law at the Inner temple.
