JEE Advanced 2021 Postponed Due to Amid Covid-19 Situation in India

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur which is the exam conducting authority for JEE Advanced 2021 has postponed the examination date due to an upsurge in the covid-19 situation in India. Earlier, the JEE Advanced 2021 exam date was scheduled to be conducted on 3rd July 2021, but now it has been postponed by the IIT Kharagpur and the notice is available online at their official site.

Joint Entrance Examination Advanced is an entrance level examination that is conducted by one of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) every single year. With the help of this examination, the qualified candidates can get the admission to several undergraduate engineering, science and some other courses in IIT. This year in 2021, the JEE Advanced exam is going to be conducted by IIT Kharagpur.

However, prior this postpone, the JEE Main April and May sessions were also pushed forward by the National Testing Agency (NTA) due to the on-going critical situation of COVID-19 pandemic in the country. As the situation is not getting under control, the JEE Advanced 2021 has been also postponed due to the same reason. So far, all the registered candidates who are going to appear in JEE Advanced 2021 can check the official site to get the complete overview of the notice released by the exam conducting authority.

JEE Advanced 2021: Exam Details

The JEE Advanced 2021 is going to be conducted in two papers such as Paper I and Paper-II. The timings for both the papers will differ and Paper I is scheduled for morning shift and the Paper II is scheduled for afternoon shift. The timing for morning shift will begin at 9:00 AM and will carry on till 12 Noon. In the meantime, afternoon shift will commence at 2:30 PM and will end at 5:30 PM.

Also, all the candidates who will qualify JEE Main 2021 will also get eligible for applying for JEE Advanced, with the help of which they can get the chance to get an admission in one of the seven IITs located in India. After qualifying in JEE Advanced 2021, the qualified candidate will be eligible to get admission in various courses such as BTech, BArch, BTech, BS, MS, MTech, among many.

The admit card for the JEE Advanced 2021 is going to be released online by the IIT Kharagpur on their official website before the exam date. After the result will be announced online, the qualified candidates will be offered admissions to the respective Indian Institute of Technology as per to the seat allocation. The seats will be allocated to them on the basis of their ranks obtained in the exam.
