National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the registration window for JEE Main April 2020 examination today on February 7. Candidates who are interested to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination to be conducted in April 2020 can register for the JEE Main April 2020 exam online at the official website i.e. jeemain.nic.in from February 7 to March 7, 2020. he uploading of images and payment of the application fee will be up to 8th March- 2020.
JEE Main April Registration 2020 Begins Today
Since last year, NAT has been holding two, instead of just one, JEE Main exams in one year to provide two opportunities for students to appear in the exam. he first JEE Main was concluded in January. JEE Main January exam result 2020 has been declared on January 17, 2020. This time around 9 students got a perfect 100 percent score in the JEE Main January exam.
However, candidates who could not clear the JEE Main January session or want to improve their score secured in the January exam can register for the JEE April session exam. It is, however, not compulsory for the students to take the exam twice. Students appearing for the exam twice (in January and April), their best of two scores will be considered.
Steps to register for JEE Main April 2020:
- Visit NTA’s JEE Main official website at jeemain.nic.in
- Click on ‘Apply for JEE Main April 2020’ button
- If you are a registered user click on ‘login to apply’
- If you are a new user, you need to register yourself.
- Click on ‘proceed to apply’ link under the ‘Fresh user’ tab on the left side.
- Fill in the required details asked in the form
- Scan and upload images
- Pay the application fee and submit
- Keep the application number or registration number safe with you for future reference.
The JEE Main admit cards will be available for download from March 16, 2020. April JEE Main exam will be held on April 5, 7, 9 and 11, 2020 and the results will be available by the end of April 2020. The JEE Main April 2020 exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode.
As per the official notice, the JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75 percent marks in the 12th class board exam, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65 percent in the 12th board examination.
