The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) result today on 19th January 2019. This is the fastest declaration of result as the result was about to release two weeks later. The NTA conducted the JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam from 8th January 2019 to 12 January 2019 and the result was expected to release on 31st January 2019.

However, Paper 1 for BTech aspirants was held on January 9 to 12 in computer-based mode and on the other hand, Paper 2 for BArch aspirants was conducted on 8th January 2019.
The next JEE exam is going to held once again in April, which is from 6th April 2019 to 20th April 2019. The application procedure for the second attempt is going to be start from 8th February 2019 to 7th March 2019. The JEE Main April Exam 2019 result will be announced till 30th April 2019. Applicants have the choice to appear for both sessions of JEE Main 2019 exams. The top best scorers in both session will be deliberated for admissions.

There were more than 8 lakh candidates who participated in the JEE Main test and out of them 45 aspirants received 100 NTA score in the JEE Main exam.
JEE Main Overview
Joint Entrance Examination Main is commonly known as JEE Main exam and it is a national level examination. The conducting body of JEE Main is National Testing Agency (NTA). The mode of examination is online or Computer based test. For Paper 2 drawing segment, the exam is conducted through pen and paper based test. The category of the examination is Undergraduate Exam and the main purpose of examination is admissions into NITs, IIITs and CFTIs or qualifying test for JEE Advanced.
The total number of attempts for JEE Main is 6 and generally twice in a year. The duration of JEE Main exam is of 3 hours and the total number of marks are 360. For paper 1 there are 8 numbers of slots for each exam out of which one has to be chosen and two slots for Paper 2.
Every year more than 12 lakh of applicants apply for the test and the total number of test centres in India is 264 and 9 in abroad. States such as Uttarakhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Nagaland are the part of JEE Main system. The states such as Rajasthan, Punjab, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh, accept the JEE Main scores. The total number of seats offered by JEE Main is NITs: 17967, IIITs: 4023 and GFTIs: 4683.
