J&K: NC-BJP clash, 4 detained, restrictions imposed

Srinagar: On Tuesday, two groups of people belonging to National Conference(NC) and BJP clashed in Kalakote belt of Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir. Police detained four person regarding this incident. Restrictions have been imposed in the town by the police.

SSP of Rajouri District – Suleman Chowdhary said that we have detained four persons and they are being questioned. The authorities have imposed prohibitory orders under CrPC Section 144 in Kalakote town as the precautionary measure.

In the clash on Tuesday, Two persons were injured.

Suleman said that a special investigation team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the case. The action will be taken against the accused once the probe report is submitted.

But the workers of National Conference resorted to protest demonstrations and blocked Kalakote road over the incident and sought to withdrawal the case against its workers.
