JoSAA counselling 2019 registrations as well as choice filling procedure has been started from 16 June 2019. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has also recently declared the detailed JoSAA counselling timetable. On the other hand, the first list of mock seat allotment is going to be released on June 22 while the second list is scheduled to get declared on June 24.
JoSAA 2019 Counselling
The declaration of final JoSAA seat allotment results for all the seven rounds is going to commence from June 27. JoSAA counselling and seat allocation procedure is conducted on the basis the ranks obtained by candidates in JEE Main as well as JEE Advanced. Previously, the counselling procedure for admissions to NITs, IIITs and additional Government Funded Institutions and that to IITs were conducted through separate counselling platforms.
Candidates must take note that only those aspirants who have qualified JEE Main and JEE Advanced are going to be eligible to appear in the counselling process.
JOSAA 2019: Counselling seat allotment schedule released
JEE Main candidates are going to be eligible to appear for the counselling procedure for various institutes such as NIT, IIEST, IIIT and GFTIs. While on the other hand JEE Advanced candidates are going to be able to contribute and take part in the counselling for all IITs, NITs, IIITs and Other-GFTIs.

JoSAA 2019 Participating Institutes
JoSAA counselling is basically held for admissions to 100 participating colleges that comprises of 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Other-GFTIs. And the total numbers of seats for IITs are 11279, for IIITs it is 4023, for NITs it is 17967 and for Other GFTIs it is 4683+.
JoSAA Eligibility Criteria 2019
In order to get eligible for participating in JoSAA 2019 counselling procedure, it’s very important for the students’ to have appeared for JEE Main or JEE Advanced 2019. Other than this, there are various additional criteria that candidates need to achieve in order to get eligible for the procedure.
