Kabaddi World Cup 2016: Pakistan wants International Federation to change venue :- The recent tension between the India and Pakistan following the URI attack is not hidden from the world. The relationship between these two countries is at stake after the attack in URI.
Even the sporting relationship between Indian and Pakistan is on verge of getting heated. Pakistan Kabaddi Federation requested the International Kabaddi Federation to change the venue for the 2016 Kabaddi world cup which will kick off next month in India.
Pakistani newspaper Roznama made the claim that Pakistan Kabaddi Federation asked the International body of Kabaddi to reconsider the venue for World Cup 2016. Meanwhile, this decision came after when India denied inviting the Pakistan Kabaddi team for the upcoming world cup.
Sikander Singh Maluka, president of the organizing committee, as well as a cabinet minister in the Indian state of Punjab, informed media wing that it will not be an ideal situation to invite the Pakistan Kabaddi team tp come here and play the Kabaddi.”
He further added that ” the situation is quite edgy between India and Pakistan after the attack in URI by thePakistan based terrorist.”
On the other side, Rana Sarwa,r the secretary of Pakistan Kabaddi Federation showed his disappointment for this decision of Indian Kabaddi Federation.
It is believed that India is not invited Pakistan because of the security concern of the Pakistan Kabaddi team. Meanwhile, the 2016 edition of Kabaddi world cup is all set to kick off on November 3, 2016, and it will interesting to see whether Pakistan will participate in this world cup.
