6.11 pm: Amit Shah attacks Rahul Gandhi for meeting fodder scam convict and RJD chief Lalu Yadav. “During UPA Rahul Gandhi had torn the ordinance which could save now fodder scam convict Lalu Yadav. As 2019 is approaching it seems Congress can’t win without Lalu ji’s support, and today he (Rahul Gandhi) met Lalu ji (in AIIMS),” Shah says at a rally in Kolar.

12.41 pm: BJP-JDS(S) are partners? Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah has alleged that both BJP and JD(S) and partners. Speaking, to the reporters, Siddaramaiah said in Belagavi that he can prove that BJP chief Amit Shah and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy traveled together to Delhi in order to meet with a number of the leaders. Siddaramaiah stated that he would make the proof of Shah-Kumaraswamy visit and meetings public in a suitable and an appropriate time.

In response to Siddaramiah’s claim, the JD(S) has released “fake” document to “prove” the Karnataka CM traveled with BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, who ditched JD(S) to join the Congress.

11.34 am: Reddy for BJP? The saffron party is facing condemnation from the opposition regarding the participation of mining baron G Janardhana Reddy in electioneering. The BJP, on the other hand, on last Sunday clarified that Reddy is not campaigning for BJP but his friend B Sriramulu.

BJP CM candidate BS Yeddyurappa told reporters, “Janardhan Reddy has not been included in the electioneering list of the BJP. He is campaigning not for the party, but for his friend Sriramulu.”

The BJP had turf somehow and sideline, the Reddy’s brothers G Somashekhara Reddy in Ballari city and his elder brother and former Ballari Lok Sabha member G Karunakara Reddy in Harappanahalli in Davanagere district.

Yeddyurappa is confident of winning the polls. “I will take Oath as Chief Minister on May 17 or 18 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s blessings. More than 4 lakh people will participate in the oath-taking ceremony,” he said.

Rahul Gandhi, the Congress president, on the last Sunday made a strong prediction, saying his party will win all forthcoming elections up to 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

“Elections are around the corner. In 2014, the BJP and the RSS machine spread lies against our government…I can tell you here that the Congress party will win Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and the 2019 Lok Sabha elections,” Gandhi said.
