One of the prominent automotive manufacturing companies of South Korea, Kia has recently launched a brand new subcompact SUV, “Sonet” on 1st May 2021, that is, on Saturday in India. With the new model, the company has modified and has also added some new features in the SUV keeping in mind the changing demand and technology. The key modification is that this time the company has added a fresh logo in the new SUV and while another key modification is that this time the company has added paddle shifters which allow quick shifting of gears in the car. Well if talk about the new logo in a little detail then this time the logo has been settled on the front, rear gate, steering, and alloy wheels.
As previously mentioned this time the brand new Sonet SUV comes with a Paddle shifter that we usually find in sporty cars. The purpose of the Kia India is to provide give their riders a sportier driving experience. However, this particular feature is available at all automatic models of the Sonet SUV. Apart from this, the SUV will come up with 10 new enhancement features including the first-ever rear door in-segment sunblind curtains, while another spectacular of the new Sonet is that it has a voice commanding feature that will allow the sunroof to open and close at your command. Isn’t it cool?
This is not just the end as the company has also added many other features which include the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) that prevents the car from sliding and helps in balancing when taking turns. Next up we have the Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) feature, and then the car has the Brake Assist (BA) features which is a kind of emergency braking. Kia India has also added up a Hill Assist Control (HAC) that uses the sensors of the car and identifies an incline earlier and adjusts according to them.
Other than that there are also a number of features including a Push-button start along with a smart key, electric sunroof, remote engine start and also there is a chrome door handle and also have a Crystal cut silver alloy wheel. Another interesting fact is that the Sonet SUV is available in three different variants including HTX, HTX +, and GTX +. The starting ex-showroom price in India for HTE 5MT is INR 6,79,000, while the HTX + 6iMT SUV and GTX + 6iMt variant of Sonet is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 11,75,000.
