Richa Singh, made a ‘deputy commissioner’ of Kolkata police for a day on Wednesday. The act was taken as an appreciation of her achievement in ISC examination. Richa came fourth in the ISC examination, all over India. Richa, a student of G.D. Birla Centre for Education, got total of 99.25 per cent marks in the plus two exam results which was declared on Tuesday. As a token of her achievement, she “occupied” the chair of the Deputy Commissioner (South Eastern Division) of city police from 6 am to 12 noon for the duration of the day.
Richa is the daughter of Rajesh Singh who is an additional officer-in-charge of Gariahat police station – was feted by DC (ESD) Kalyan Mukherjee, as also the OCs’ of numerous police stations.
When she was asked that whether she had any orders for her father, Richa said: “I will order him to return home early” as she was his “boss” for the day.
Talking about her upcoming plans, Richa said that she wanted to study history or sociology. She also said that she is thinking for appearing in the UPSC examination and it was also on her mind.
Richa’s father seems to be astounded and very happy after seeing her daughter as his ‘superior’, he said that he “Can’t express how happy I am. She is my ‘superior’ for the day. She has ordered me to return home early. I shall obey her today”
Talking about the ISC Result 2019, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has recently declared the result for the Indian School Certificate (ISC) of Class 12th 2019 exam on 7th May. With the perfect total of 100 per cent marks Kolkata’s Dewang Kumar Agarwal and Bengaluru’s Vibha Swaminathan topped the Class 12 ISC exams. As per to the reports, they are the first students to score a perfect 100 per cent in ISC in the history of the school board.
On the other hand, talking about Class 10 ISCE exam result, Mumbai’s Juhi Rupesh Kajaria and Manhar Bansal from Punjab’s Muktsar topped the Class 10 ISCE exam with 99.60 per cent.
The result has been released on the official website of CISCE and it is still available online. All the candidates who have appeared in the examination can check or download their result from the official website at www.cisce.org.
In the year 2018, more than 80,000 students had appeared for the ISC examination out of which the pass percentage for ISC was 96.30 per cent and girls outclassed boys in the exam.
