The renowned politician of the Bharatiya Janta Party “Tajinder Bagga” has been arrested by Delhi Police. Lately, he has been arrested by the Punjab Police from his Delhi residence on Friday, 5th May 2022. He was arrested on the basis of a registered complaint against him for threatening the Chief Minister of Delhi. The complaint was registered by the cyber cell of the Punjab Police which chased him and arrested him in Delhi. As per the complaints registered against Tajinder Bagga, he had threatened the Chief Minister of Delhi “Arvind Kejriwal” on March 30, 2020.
The complainant has also submitted a video clip including the statement of Tajinder Bagga in regards to Arvind Kejriwal. He made this statement with the view to scaring CM Arvind Kejriwal during a protest on May 30, 2022. This news has come up to the attention of people on the account of the involvement of the BJP which is the governing party in the Union Government. The Father of Tajinder Baggatated that he was misbehaved by the police officer when they entered their home,e and surged an operation to find out Tajinder Bagga inside his residence.
Tajinder Bagga Arrest
The name of the father of Tajinder Bagga is Pritpal Singh Bagga. Pritpal Singh Bagga was present at the residence when the police arrived at their residence to arrest the politician. He stated that he was punched by the Punjab Police officer and they barged into his house on Friday. Later, the police officers dragged his son “Tajinder Bagga” from their accommodation and that too without giving any reason for the arrest. There were around 15 police officials who punched Tajinder Bagga when he was trying to make a video. It was around 08:30 AM when police arrested the politician.
BJP reaction to the arrest
After the arrest of Tajinder Bagga, BJP has given a counter statement. BJP has organized a press conference on the day of the arrest of Tajinder Bagga therein the party In response to the arrested of Tajinder Bagga, a BJP spokesperson has stated that AAP is accustomed to playing vindictive politics. He has alleged that the arrest of Tajinder Bagga is illegitimate. They added that the Punjab CM and Arvind Kejriwal are allies who believe in vindictive politics.
Although the police have evidence against the politician yet the party members and his other followers are calling his arrest to be a tactic of the rivals so that they may ruin the public image of Tajinder Bagga.
