Lok Sabha Panel probing Bhagwant Mann videography issue gets another Extension : The Parliament House videography issue of Bhagwant Mann has been given extension till late November. Chairman Kirit Somaiya informed media wing that ” Sumitra Mahajan who is the speaker has given an extension to the Committee on Conduct of Bhagwant Mann until the end of the first week of next (Winter) session.”
And the Parliament winter session will start in the third week of November. The same panel was asked to submit their report until Thursday and was also given two-week extension in the same month today.
The panel heard that a gate from where the AAP MP entered and this panel was called because Parliament house official wants to check whether there is a loophole in the security apparatus and what actually transpired that day when AAP MP entered the complex.
Somaiya informed media that this committee will deal with this issue in two ways. One they will try to find out what is the role of Mann in deploying the security and what corrective measures should be taken to avoid this kind of circumstances in near future.
The MP’s various section will try to look the seriousness of this matter. Alo, the speaker has asked AAP MP from Sangrur to not attend the sittings of the House, till any decision will be made.
The Panel consist of the two BJP members, Meenakshi Lekhi, Satyapal Singh, B Mahtab (BJD), Ratna De (TMC), Thota Narasimham (TDP), K C Venugopal (Congress), Anandrao Adsul (Shiv Sena) and P Venugopal (AIADMK).
This panel is formed to find out the role of Mann in this issue. On the other side, Mann is maintaining his innocence by saying that he has not done anything wrong. But, time will answer who is innocence in this matter.
