Well, 9 personnel from Central Reserve Police Force were killed in the Maoists attack and others are injured when suspected Maoists blew up their mine-protected vehicle (MPV) in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma on Tuesday. Reports are coming that this attack was pre-planned and they tried to kill every single personnel in this attack. The attack was quite brutal and the whole force is their now investigating is going on.
Reports are coming that the blast occurred when a team of CRPF’s 212th battalion was patrolling in a forest in Kistaram area of Sukma, located around 500 km from Raipur. Also, reports are coming that the forces are conducting the area-domination operation in the forest of Kistaram when the Maoists blew up the CRPF’s mine-protected vehicle. Also, the reports are coming that the attack was quite explosive.

As per the reports, the rebels used a lot of explosives to blow up the vehicle and just after the incident reinforcement was rushed to the spot to investigate and rescue operation for some survived injuries. Even, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the attack as “deeply distressing” and also bowed to the martyrs who lost their lives while “serving the nation”.
He took to twitter and wrote this, “My heartfelt condolences to the families of that person who lost their lives in Sukma blast. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured jawans. I spoke to DG @crpfindia regarding the Sukma incident and asked him to leave for Chhattisgarh.”
If we took back to the past then we can say that in last 11 month around 25 CRPF jawans were killed by a gang of nearly 300 Naxals at a construction site in Sukma. Then Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu had termed the attack as a “classic case of mindless killing”.
