Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS is Expected to launch in March 2017 in India Specification Features

Maruti Suzuki Baleno has already gained respect from automotive community and customers. Now inspired by the success, Maruti Suzuki is betting big with the Baleno RS.

During the festive season, the Indo-Japanese automaker was expected to launch more powerful RS version of the car but the production constraints of other popular models seem to have postponed its arrival to 3rd March. It will be more performance oriented and the added design elements will make it unique compared to the standard model.

Baleno has a dedicated fanbase ever since it re-entered the market as premium hatchback at the end of October 2015.
While its sales underline the unrelenting popularity, Maruti appears to have not had enough as the performance-based sportier RS version should make things interesting in the retailing numbers of the high-end variants.
The earlier test mules spied by us appeared to have export-spec alloy wheels but the pictures posted here are the one that would likely be introduced in the domestic version and you could point out all four disc brakes as well on them easily.

Therefore, the upcoming Baleno RS may get a price tag around Rs. 8.1 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Honda Jazz V AT has priced at Rs. 8.32 lakh and expects the Indo-Japanese automaker to keep the Baleno RS’ pricing very competitive against it.Expect the Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS to come priced a bit higher than the standard petrol. The regular petrol model comes priced between Rs. 5.24 lakh and Rs. 7.57 lakh.

Not only that, it is very much fuel efficient as well.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS was expected to get a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters to put the car on par with Honda Jazz V AT.
