Massive: Fire At Hospital ICU In Delhi’s Rohini, Patient Dies As Oxygen Supply Cut

A piece of very shocking news is coming from Delhi’s Brahm Shakti Hospital in Budh Vihar, where a patient died and a doctor suffered massive injuries after a fire broke out in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital in Delhi’s Rohini area, fire department stated. Although, the hospital has been evacuated and other patients have been saved by the firefighters. According to the sources, it came known that the fire broke out on the third floor of Brahm Shakti Hospital in Budh Vihar at around 5 am, following which a total of nine fire tenders were pressed into service. The fire was completely doused by 6.50 am, they added.

Other reports have stated that in the fire a 64 years old man lost his life after he struggled with lack of oxygen which was disrupted due to the fire at the facility. The fire, clearly caused because of a short circuit, broke out on the third floor of Brahm Shakti Hospital, Pooth Khurd, they said. The data in regards to the fire was gotten around 5 am, following which the neighborhood police arrived at the spot and called fire tenders, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Pranav Tayal said. The one who died has been identified as Holi, who was a kidney patient and was going under treatment, he was the resident of Prem Nagar, and was taken out yet he kicked the bucket because of the disturbance in power and oxygen support, DCP Tayal said.
