The Indian American Engineer Making Waves in the Kitchen of ‘Master Chef India’ and on the cooking show she will be showcasing her mix of Indian and Western flavours of cooking which will be surely going to win the heart of the panel judge team.
Seems like the celebrity chef Vikas Khanna, Kunal Kapoor and the restaurateur Zorawar Kalra – by preparing ‘saoji’ chicken, a spicy and flavourful dish native to Nagpur, Maharashtra, by marrying Indian and Tex-Mex flavours. She served the chicken atop freshly cooked ‘jowar’ (sorghum) tacos. Chef Khanna wondered, “Why didn’t I think of this.”
She prepared the dish with bananas, spinach, beetroot, chillies, coriander, chicken, oranges, mustard oil, star anise and almonds and she termed it “East Meets West,” and Kapoor said, “the dish blew him away.”
She just actually wins the heart of the panel judge team and the judges just selected her to performed in the coming rounds. The engineer by profession she is a fantastic cook proved herself. The cooking reality shows Master Chef India is now keen to select the 16 participants’ who will be showcases’ their cooking skills.
In the “Master Chef India” 16 enthusiastic non-professional cooks who will battle it out in the kitchen of the popular competitive food competition.
Indeed it is a 44-year-old Anagha Godbole NRI from San Francisco, Calif steals the show completely as her dish was just enough to make the panel judge members mesmerised. She also received huge praised from the judges to make the entry in the coming rounds.
Throwing light on the tonight shows it is the home cooks who performed badly in the invention test must now face the elimination challenge. The challenge is to replicate chef Kunal Kapur’s signature dish and the person who will be able to impress Kunal Kapoor by his signature dish can be the chance to survive on the show.
