According to the report of TOI that Ashfaque Ahmed has taken his wife and child along to west Asia and moreover two of his cousins have also joined him.
This family is of Mumbai-based businessman Abdul Majeed’s son Ashfaque Ahmed.
Out of ten people from Kerala, who are suspected to have joined the dreaded terror outfit Islamic State, five belong to one family.
Further Details of Ashfaque’s family members
Ashfaque Ahmed 26-year-old, his wife, infant daughter and cousins Ejaz Rehman and Mohammed Siraj had left India in the month of June 2016 to join the terror outfit Islamic State.
The cousin of Ashfaque Ahmed, Mohammed Siraj is 22 years old and a businessman by profession while the other cousin of Ashfaque, Ejaz Rehman is 30 years old and a medical practitioner by profession.
According to the report that the youngest brother of Ashfaque had received a message in the month of June this year.
Ashfaque wrote in a message to his youngest brother that I have had migrated to IS territory and did not want to come back, take care of mother and father.
The father of Ashfaque, Abdul Majeed filed an FIR on 6th August naming Abdur Rasheed, Haneef, a Kerala school teacher who travelled to Syria with Ashfaque, Kalyan resident Rizwan Khan and Navi Mumbai resident Arshi Qureshi as the ones who allegedly instigated his son to join the terror outfit Islamic State.
Now, the Mumbai police are questioning Islamic preacher Mohammed Haneef, who is under crime branch custody.
