Recently, a video of a car crash is going viral on social media, in which it has been said that 31-year old Ugandan singer, Edrisah Musuuza, famously known as Eddy Kenzo Masaka is involved. As per the initial reports, the accident shown in the video is reported to have occurred on 5th August 2021, Thursday, morning at the Kampala-Maska roadway near the Stabeux Fuel station. The singer of ‘Sitya Loss’ took over his official Facebook account and ensured his fans that he is completely fine, and glad that he survived the dangerous accident. His manager, Martin Beta Muhumuz also confirmed the same by stating that Kenzo and others got minor injuries in the car accident.
Referring to Kenzo and his team, Muhuza further stated that they all are absolutely fine, while their injuries are being treated at the hospital by the medical staff. The 2018 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award winner, narrated the whole accident in his Facebook post by stating that he along with three members of his team were traveling along the road of Kampala-Masaka when the incident happened. The singer further wrote, “because of the heavy downpour that took place in the morning, the roads were a little slippery, and due to this, the driver of the car eventually lost control.” Kenzo who has spent half of his life in the streets of Kampala and Masak started making music in the year 2008. He continued to release new music each year, while his biggest breakthrough was when he released his single “Stamina” in the year 2010, which was later used as theme songs by various Ugandan politicians during the 2011 general election.
Meanwhile, his first international release was, “Sitya Loss that garnered great appreciation and recognition from around the world. He is the first artist of Ugandan who has won the American BET Award in the year 2015. Explaining about the horrific accident, the singer further informed “When they arrived at Maya road, there was a bump in the road that was slight next to the Stabex Petrol Station. Due to the bump, his car drifted in a striking fashion, it was like a whole 180 degree spin in the center of the road.”
Kenzo who is known for his vocals and as an expert of dancehall and Afropop genre continued to write, “the car faced the wrong way meaning it crash-landed into a ditch right next to the petrol station.” He also stated that the accident happened on 5th August Thursday morning, though the good news is that everyone including him survived in the car without any fatal damage. The Uganda singer thanked the almighty divine power who protected him and his team from this frightening accident. After hearing that the singer is all safe and fine, the fans are relieved and praying for his well-being.
