The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official notification regarding the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 examination today on December 2, 2019. The registration for the NEET 2020 examination is going to begin today at 4 pm. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply for the NEET 2020 online on its official website at ntaneet.nic.in on or before December 31, 2019, till 11:50 pm. However, the fees can be paid only online up to January 1, 2020.

The official notification reads, “Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 provides for holding of a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Thus, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like institutions will also be made through NEET.”
According to the notification, the admit card for the exam is expected to be out by 27 March 2020 and the date of the examination is 3 May 2020. The NEET (UG) 2020 shall be conducted in 11 languages, including English and Hindi. The tentative date of the results is 4 June 2020. The applicants who pass the NEET exam are eligible to apply to MBBS and other courses.

- On the homepage, click on ‘Online submission for application for NEET(UG) 2020’
- Click on ‘new registration’
- You will be redirected to a new page
- Fill in details to create your login account and press submit
- Upload all the required documents and pay the application fees
- Click on submit
NEET 2020 Registration How to Apply Online
The documents required for the application include Class 10 and 12 mark-sheet, scanned copies of the candidate’s passport-sized photo and signature, and ID proof like Aadhaar card of Voter ID card.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to general category are required to pay Rs. 1500 as application fee. For General EWS and OBC con-creamy layer candidates, the application fee is Rs. 1400. Whereas, transgender candidates and those who are from reserved category have to pay Rs. 800 as application fee.
The NEET (UG) 2020 shall consist of one question paper containing 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Biology has 90 questions, while physics and chemistry have 45 questions each. The duration of the exam will be three-hours.
