The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) admit card has recently been announced and it is currently being presented on the official website of NEST 2019. Candidates who are going to appear for the examination can download their NEST 2019 admit card by just clicking on the link as well as entering in their user Id and password to log in.

The NEST 2019 exam is going to be held at several Centres all over India on June 1, 2019 (Saturday) at two different sessions that is morning sessions and the second one is afternoon session.
NEST 2019: Exam Timings or Sessions
The timings for the NEST 2019 exams are as follows:
Session 1: Morning shift (From 9 am to 12.30 pm)
Session 2: Afternoon shift (From 2.30 pm to 6 pm)
Candidates must reach the examination centre at least thirty minutes before the examination begins as the late entries are strictly prohibited. Also, entry without admit card is also not allowed, so all the candidates are asked to bring their admit card to the examination hall otherwise they will be not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory online entrance test for attaining the admission to the 5-year Integrated MSc Program at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) Mumbai.
Both the university NISER as well as UM-DAE CEBS were started by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in the year 2007. Their main purpose is to train scientific manpower for executing cutting verge scientific research and for providing contributions to the scientific programmes of the Department of Atomic Energy as well as the additional applied science institutions in India.

NEST is a national level entrance exam serving as a gateway for the various candidates who are looking for admission into 5-year integrated M.Sc. program in Basic Sciences – Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) is mutually held by NISER (National Institute of Science Education & Research), Bhubaneswar & UM-DAE-CEBS (University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences), Mumbai.
After the announcement of NEST Result, the counselling is going to be held in online mode on the basis of merit list and commonly, seats are filled in the first phase of counselling. A waiting list will be organised on the basis of the merit list if the seats will get available.
