Night Curfew Imposed in Delhi From 10 PM to 5 AM Check New Guidelines Rules and More

As cases of the Wuhan virus are picking up pace once again in Delhi, keeping in mind the safety of Delhiites the government of Delhi has enforced the night Curfew from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The sole intention behind this action taken by Kejriwal’s government is to halt the movement of people at night because we all know that this virus transmits from human to human and if the movement of the people will be restricted then the movement of the virus will also be halted. The curfew is imposed with effect from 6th April 2021 to 30th April 2021 from 10 PM to 5 AM at night.

The Delhiites need not worry about the night curfew, as all the essential services will be open for them. Delhi is not the first state that has implemented a night curfew, but before them, other states including Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat and others have enforced curfew at night. Now, the biggest question is what will remain open in the curfew that will take place between 10 pm to 5 am.

During the night curfew, no restriction will be imposed on the traffic movement and also people can go out for vaccination subject to e-pass. Small shopkeepers, ration shops, fruit and vegetable shops and pharmacy will be opened but they will also need e-pass. People working in the journalism profession are permitted to work at night. Doctors, nurses and other hospitality staffs are also can also travel, subject to ID cards.

People coming and going from public transports such as railway station, buses, Delhi Metros, Auto, taxi and airports will be allowed to travel with tickets. While there is no restriction on the interstate and intrastate movement of essential and non-essential goods and no e-pass or special permission.  As of now, the Night curfew is the only solution that the government have come up with to stop the spread of the Chinese virus.

There is a second wave of virus that is hitting India and we all need to understand the need of the situation. At this point in time, lockdown is not the solution to this problem, as the previous lockdown has already badly hampered the economy of India and brought some serious economic uncertainty, and not only that lockdown affected the supply chain of India, restaurant industry, entertainment industry and others. The situation of Delhi and other respective states of India is quite alarming and if the situations get severe, we will definitely face the consequences in the form increase in the number of patient of the virus.
