The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2019 on July 13 (Saturday) i.e. today. All the students who appeared for the exam can check their result at the official website of NTA i.e. ntanet.nic.in or nta.ac.in.
NTA has declared the result on the basis of NTA NET June final answer key 2019 and is calculated on the basis of raw scores and percentiles scores of total raw scores.
As per the norms of UGC, only 6 percent of candidates qualify the exam and the total slot allocated to different categories have been set as per the policy of GOI.
While NTA only considers those aspirants who appeared for both the papers and managed to score more than 40 percent marks for General category candidates, the minimum marks criteria for the SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Transgender candidates are 35 percent.
NTA UGC NET Result 2019-
As per the cut off marks released by NTA, out of 9.42 lakh who appeared for the exam, a total of 4756 candidates have cleared for the JRF while 55701 have cleared the NET for assistant professor only.
The candidates who qualify for the post of JRF are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor.
Candidates qualifying for the post of JRF will be eligible to receive a fellowship of UGC under various schemes, subject to their finding placement in universities/IITs/Institutions. The validity period of the offer will be three years w.e.f. the date of issue of JRF Award Letter.

- Visit the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA): ntanet.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the tab reading ‘NET June 2019 Result’
- On the login page, enter the required details and click Submit
- The NTA NET 2019 Result will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take a printout for future reference
The National Eligibility Test (NET 2019) entrance exam was conducted between June 20 and June 26 in computer-based-test format. The NET Preliminary 2019 Answer Key was released on July 1 and challenge against it was accepted till July 3.
