New Zealand has played in World Cup many times and is considered a strong team but unfortunately New Zealand has not won any World Cup’s trophies once in its career. New Zealand has been runner-up once. New Zealand reached final in 2015 in which the team was defeated by Australia. Australia defeated New Zealand by 7 wickets. This year, New Zealand will be playing 3 warm-up matches with Australia and the matches will be played on 5 , 7 and 9 May. The warm-up series will be played in Brisbane. New Zealand has strong batting lineup and with the all-rounders like Colin de Grandhomme, James Neesham and Mitchell Santner, they have pretty toned team for this WC.
