It has been rumoured that Oppo is working on a number of smartphones under its different series. The company has now listed the much-rumoured A92s on its China website and e-commerce platforms that reveal the design and specifications of the A92s in their entirety which turn out to be in line with the rumours so far.
Oppo A92s Specification Features
The Oppo A92s is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset under the hood and has a 120Hz refresh rate on the display.
The Oppo A92s sports pricing of CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs 24,000) for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 27,000) for the top model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory. However, the sale and availability details of the smartphone are still not known, but it is listed on Oppo’s online store and JD.com in China.
The listing on the websites reveals major specifications but there are a few areas the information on which is unclear. The listing reveals that the Oppo A92s has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole setup on the left. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full-HD+ resolution (1080×2400 pixels). It is powered by an octa-core MT6873V SoC, which implies there is the MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor running the show. The chipset supports 5G networks as well, however, it is not mentioned in the listing.
As far as the camera is concerned, the Oppo A92s has a quadruple setup at the back, but the details of only the main sensor are mentioned. There is a 48-megapixel main sensor with an aperture of f/1.7. However, the TENAA listing of the A92s reveals that there is an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor on the rear. For selfies, there is a combination of a 16-megapixel f/2.0 main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The battery information is also not there with the listing, but previous leaks suggested that there could be a 3890mAh battery with 20W fast charging. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a fingerprint sensor mounted on the power button on the right.
