Pakistan may have launched Project Harvest, Likely to target senior retired Indian Army, police officers

Pakistan’s ISI is expected to have launched ‘Project Harvest’ in contradiction of India, which is intended at aiming senior retired police as well as Army officers in Punjab along with other parts of India.

India has learnt that ISI has launched ‘Project Harvest’ in order to start an initiative to target retired police officials as well as army personnel. As per to some sources, a Canada-based Khalistan activist has been given the charge to launch ‘Project Harvest’.

Security agencies are taking full consideration as well as keeping an eye on the activities of pro-Khalistan group ‘Sikhs For Justice’ (SFJ), which is backing free air tickets to all the people who are ready to join the Khalistan Referendum movement. The agencies are also examining whether SFJ was part of ISI’s ‘Project Harvest’ or not.

In the meantime, the Station Superintendent at Pathankot Railway Station has also received a threat mail which claims that the Pathankot City as well as Cantt railway stations is going to be blown up. As per to the Police, the letter was received by post.

The security in Pathankot has been heightened up while on the other hand the forces are also bracing for ISI who are trying to flare separatist activities as well as tension in the Punjab region.

As per to the highly placed sources said that fake news on the disassembling of Guru Nanak Mahal structure may perhaps also be the idea of ISI in order to instigate Sikhs.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had also expressed his worry that Pakistan’s ISI as well as hardline Sikh groups may mistreat Kartarpur corridor for anti-India activities.

In the meantime, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that India is not going to accept or bear any separatist activities. While on the other hand, Pakistan PM Imran Khan is under pressure in order to act in contradiction of Khalistan as well as other terror groups. Though, action may possibly be limited to issuing statements as ISI carry on to compete against the moves.

Also, in the previous month, Pro-Khalistan group ‘Sikhs For Justice (SFJ)’ has claimed that the Pakistan government has disqualified the registration of the ‘Khalistan Referendum Team 2020’ on its territory at the request of the Narendra Modi government.

At that time SFJ legal adviser Gurpatwant Singh Pannun also said, “Pro-Khalistan activists were officially invited to launch the registration the president of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee on behalf of the Pakistan government. The Khalistan activists from North America and Europe, who reached Pakistan in the first week of April, were not allowed to post banners of Khalistan in Gurdwara Panja Sahib and were forced to stop the scheduled plan to register volunteers for Referendum 2020.”

Pannun further said “Prime Minister Imran Khan and (Pakistan) Army Chief (Qamar Javed) Bajwa, who have been deceptively claiming to be the messiah of the Sikh community have succumbed and bowed down to Modi government’s dictatorial pressure to ban SFJ’s ‘Khalistan Referendum Team 2020’ registration event at Panja Sahib during the visiting Sikh pilgrims from India.”

In the meantime, it is to be noted here that the dissimilarities in the middle of Imran Khan as well as Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa are rising over pro-India as well as pro-Sikh initiatives like inaugural of the Kartarpur corridor.
