Petrol prices declined at Rs. 69.79 in the National Capital, Delhi

In the national capital, Delhi the petrol prices yet again declined to a new price rate of Rs 69.79 per litre. Data on the Indian Oil Corp’ website displayed that the petrol rates on Sunday was at Rs 70.07 per litre in Delhi. In the same year only in 4 January 2018, the price of petrol was also declined at Rs 69.97.

Petrol price touches new low in Delhi at Rs 69.79 per litre

It was the lowest fall level of Petrol in January 2018 which as recorded at 69.86 per litre and from that time period gap in Delhi, the prices of petrol now fells below Rs 70 per litre mark on Monday.

In Chennai at southern metropolitan city, the prices of petrol also declined from 72.70 to 72.48 on Sunday to the lowest level in 2018. In this year only the previous declined rates of petrol in Chennai was recorded at Rs 72.53 on 4th January 2018.

In Kolkata and Mumbai, the prices of the petrol previously hit the lowest level of 2018 previous in the month. On Monday, they further dropped the petrol rates to Rs 71.96 and Rs 75.48, respectively. The previous petrol prices of both Kolkata and Mumbai wee at Rs 72.16 and Rs 75.69 per litre respectively.

The drop in national fuel prices rates comes in the middle of the current fall in global crude oil prices rates.

As per the nation’s vibrant pricing mechanism, the national fuel prices are determined upon value of the rupees as well as the global fuel prices on a 15 day average.

On the other hand the cost of diesel also declined in tandem with petrol. The prices of diesel declined against its previous prices in various places in India are mentioned below:

  • In Delhi the prices of diesel was dropped at Rs 63.83, whereas the previous prices of diesel at Delhi was at Rs 64.01.
  • In Mumbai the prices of diesel was dropped at Rs 66.59, whereas the previous prices of diesel at Mumbai was at Rs 66.98
  • In Chennai the prices of diesel was dropped at Rs 67.38. whereas the previous prices of diesel at Chennai was at Rs 67.58
  • In Kolkata the prices of diesel was dropped at Rs 65.59, whereas the previous prices of diesel at Kolkata was at Rs 65.77.
