In recent elections, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) lost election from 3 states that were Madhya Pradesh Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. To recover from the loss, BJP has come up with an intensive approach to win the rest of the electoral grounds. According to an official, BJP will also be making new alliances over next 100 days.
Officials said that PM Modi will circuit 20 states to spur the BJP workers and will also be seeking support from voters. There are 123 seats which are divided into 25 clusters and one head is given the charge of individual cluster. PM Modi will focus in these 25 clusters. Amongst these clusters, West Bengal, Assam and Odisha only hold 77 seats.
A BJP general secretary, “PM Modi remains the most popular leader and continues to be the only candidate who can provide a stable government. We will capitalise on this.”
PM Modi has re-introduced the ‘Mission123’. On 24 December, PM Modi inaugurated the Indian Institute of Technology in Odisha and on 2nd December he inaugurated India’s longest rail-cum-road bridge over the Brahmaputra River. The next stop of BJP will be Silchar in Assam on 4 January 2019. On January 5, PM Modi will return in Odisha to deliver a speech to a rally at Mayurbhanj and will once again return to the state on January 15 for another meeting.
Now, BJP has assigned different tasks to 7 different heads to focus and reach out Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and youths to target set of voters.
Poonam Mahajan controlling the BJP’s youth section has given a 14-point programme which is directed to gain support from the first time voters. From January 12, the wing is going to launch a ‘Nation with Namo’ that will consider and raise a team of young voters those are keen to re-elect PM Modi. To achieve this, a ‘Pehla vote Modi’ (first vote to Modi) campaign will initiate the new voters to cast their first vote to Modi. For this, different hall programs have been arranged in many regions of our country between January 16 and January 22.
On the other hand, Party President Amit Shah will also work to bring the BJP’s booth level plan in shape. It will be done by initiating a team on booth to cover 220 million receivers of government outlines. Amit Shah will be addressing a sum of 15,000 leaders of BJP in Jan 11 and Jan 12. This is going to be the first time for the party to organize such a huge council meeting at high level with district-level authorities also requested to be part of the meeting.
