After the great hit of Indian biopic of Athlete Milkha Singh ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, many biopics are being made in Indian film industry. 2018 was full of biopic movies and in current time, biopics are running successfully in the theatres. Recently, biopic on former Indian Prime Minister was produced and is ready for its release on 11 January 2019.
First look poster of PM Narendra Modi’s biopic out, Vivek Oberoi stuns
After producing such biopic films, how can Indian film industry miss the chance to make a biopic on the life of our current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, there were rumours about the production of the film and was no announcement made regarding it but now it is officially announced. It is announced that a biopic is going to be made on the life of PM Modi. The film is starring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role and the film is being directed by Omung Kumar with Sandip Ssingh producing the biopic.

The shoot for the movie will start from around the mid-January while there is no declaration regarding the release date of the movie and neither is it finalized. The first poster of PM Narendra Modi biopic will be unveiled on January 7 by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai.
Film critic Taran Adarsh posted the announcement on Twitter that read, “IT’S OFFICIAL… Vivekanand Oberoi [Vivek Oberoi] to star in Narendra Modi biopic, titled #PMNarendraModi… Directed by Omung Kumar… Produced by Sandip Ssingh… First look poster will be launched on 7 Jan 2019… Filming starts mid-Jan 2019.”
Bollywood Hungama published a report few days ago. The report read that the ‘Saathiya’ actor would be using his full name “Vivekanand Oberoi” in the credits for the movie. According to some sources, the biopic project will be shot in different locations. The shooting will take place in different parts of the country from Modi’s Hometown in Gujarat to Delhi, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
Other than the biopic on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, biopics on political leader Balasaheb Thackrey and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.T Rama Rao are also being prepared to be screened shortly. The Narendra Modi biopic will show that how a tea vendor climbs up the stairs to become the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democratic country India.
While on the other hand, Vivek was recently spotted playing a role in Kannada movie ‘Commando’ and Tamil film ‘Vivegam’. He would next be seen in a Malayalam movie that is ‘Lucifer’ and in Vinaya Vidheya Rama, which is a Telugu flick.
