Ponoka Accident, 3 Killed in Fatal Tractor And Trailer Crash On Icy Highway A very bizarre and shocking accident that happened because of the Freezing rain results in the crash of two crashes in the rural areas of north and south in Edmonton which killed around three people in the early morning of Thursday. Both of the accidents were so serious and dangerous by which the persons who were in the vehicles got seriously injured while some of them lost their lives in this accident. The police along with the emergency services reached the spot and attempted their best to clear all the roads and to rescue the persons who met with the Ponoka Accident. The people who met with the accident were taken to the hospital where they are treated under the supervision of many doctors who gives their best to rescue the people from life-threatening injuries. The first crash was happened at around 6:15 AM northbound on Highway 2 at the Crandall overpass in which around eight vehicles were involved in the accident and in this, a 64-year-old man from Rimbey died at the spot. The investigation of Ponoka RCMP stated that a semi-tractor trailer unit had crashed on the highway and was hit by another semi and with this, the other semi couldn’t stop themselves and slid into the crash scene and in this, a total of seven semi-tractor trailer units along with one SUV were involved.

After the accident, the northbound lanes of Highway 2 were shut down and northbound traffic was rerouted at Highway 53. Talking about the second accident, then in this a total of 2 people died at the spot which was happened at around 7 AM on Highway 28 near Township Road 564 in Sturgeon County. In this crash, a pickup truck that was travelling north lost control and crashed into the southbound lane and at that spot, it was hit by a semi-tractor trailer unit carrying nitrogen gas after that the pick-up truck burst into flames.
There were a total of three killed has been reported while many of the people are in the hospital where they are treated under the supervision of many doctors and the identification of the persons who died and injured is still not shared by the police officers.
