Porsche Cayenne Coupe India Launch on Coming December 2019 :- After the likes of the BMW X6, X4 and X2, the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and GLC Coupe, and the Audi Q8, Porsche is now turning into the latest luxury carmaker to go down the ‘coupe-SUV’ route.

Previously, few months back, Porsche announced the all-new Cayenne Coupé performance SUV to the world in March 2019. At the time there was plenty of speculation about it coming to India but later it was officially confirmed to get launched in India, as well.

Pavan Shetty, Director Porsche India said in one of his interview that the Cayenne Coupé is coming within this calendar year. He said, “I think it would be one stunning car to be seen on Indian roads – from a brand perspective and a model perspective, I can’t wait. We should have it by the fourth quarter this year.”

As with the above-mentioned cars, the Cayenne Coupe carries an conformist SUV as well as gives it sloping or ‘fast’ roof, for a far added aggressive look, but with a drawback to rear headroom.

The Cayenne Coupe is going to be launched in India in two variant and that is the base V6 and the V8-powered Turbo. Right now, the launch is confirmed for December 2019, however, there is no date fixed yet. The top-spec Cayenne Turbo S e-Hybrid Coupe with the 680hp V8 PHEV powertrain, may possibly be launched at a later stage.

The powertrains continue to be unaffected from the typical Cayenne, with the turbocharged petrol V6 allocating up 340hp as well as 450Nm, along with the Turbo variant powered by a 550hp, 770Nm twin-turbo V8. Both cars on the other hand get all-wheel drive as well as an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
